It is my belief they have most of the answers and just need guidance in recognizing them. It is a sort of “They can’t see the forest because of the trees.” My 30 plus years in a great variety businesses makes me uniquely qualified to sort through different problems and help find solutions.

2. To be a sounding board for the clients when it is difficult for them to appraise a situation using contacts they already have. There can be a variety of reasons for not discussing a situation with those closer to the client. Example: One does not normally want to share financial or other business problems with employees, friends, customers, suppliers or bankers.

3. To help the client evaluate the situation and provide support so that they may act objectively using a rational approach to their problem(s).

We provide a consulting service to help our clients, during troublesome times, find solutions to their business problems.

When a business gets into trouble management tends to loose focus. Often the situation seems hopeless. Management is so busy putting out fires that they have no time to work on solutions to the problems.

What we do is to perform an objective evaluation of the business through discussion and questioning of the people in charge. We look for action that can be taken to deal with the short-term problems, with the ultimate goal being a long-term solution.

Most of the time the management team provides the real discovery. We have found through the years they have the answers. What we do is to use our experience to utilize this information to provide a solution. Working as a team we then formulate a recovery process.

There are cases when things have gone too far. Our service is almost more important in these cases. We help the principals find the best restructuring or exit plan possible.

This process is very similar to our Turnaround techniques. However, usually these are more specific problems that are troubling the company’s decision-makers. Many times it is a problem that is difficult to discuss with other personnel in the business, vendors, customers, accountants or financial sources. Sometime all that the client needs to work things out is a sounding board. This is where we come in. Our services are objective and completely confidential. We exist for only one purpose, to help provide answers and solutions.

Once again the process is much like previously described. However, the objective here is actually different. What we do is to evaluate a business for strengths and weaknesses so that the business plan may be tweaked to obtain top efficiency or avoid possible future problems. If a written business plan is not in place we help create one. A working plan need not be a thick volume of rhetoric. It should provide a short and precise plan of action with the spreadsheets being the roadmap to your future.

Every business needs a written plan to guide them as they develop and proceed forward. This plan states where the company is now, where it wants to be in the future, how intends to get there and the resources it has to make it happen. We can help create such a plan. Many times a plan is needed for banking or investment purposes. This is a more detailed plan which is created to provide the targeted group with a view of the company using a structure needed for them to react upon. The spreadsheets are the heart of such a plan. They need to be constructed with realistic numbers and goals.

This service is provided for businesses wanting to get an idea of what their company is worth. The valuation process was created from three different recognized valuation techniques. Valuations can only be the guideline. We believe out process will provide an objective measure of your businesses value.

What we can provide under certain circumstances is for a company to change their RED ink to BLACK. In other words change the balance sheet from negative to positive. This is done by altering the assets and liabilities. We can provide more detail upon request.

Most importantly a direct (possibly painful) opinion of what your chances are of obtaining funding.

2. If you decide to continue the initial fee is only $300. Of this initial retainer $100 will be applied to our evaluation and investigative time off the phone. The balance of $200 will be applied to future telephone consultations at the regular rate of $2.50 per minute. This initial retainer is non-refundable.

3. The on going services for telephone consultation is $2.50 per minute. All charges are included the telephone discussions unless the client is otherwise informed. Ongoing retainers are refundable subject to the open balance. This is less than most of those more questionable phone services and our service should be a lot more productive.
